As you all know getting ranked on Google’s frontpage is a big pain.
BUT! with hardwork and perseverance it can also be FUN! (yes! you got that right…)
You thought Search Engine Optimisation is boring and all about those do this and all that steps.
Well think again.. with social networking things may go Funner (or whatever word) than you think.
Who doesn’t know FACEBOOK? MYSPACE? DIGG? STUMBLEUPON or whatever social networking sites..
Who doesn’t want to meet people on the internet? be popular on the internet? or learn new and fun stuffs on the net?
if you don’t want that then PLUTO is the best place for you!
Well if you DO want that then here’s what made it fun..
For example Digg.com is a really good search engine optimisation site and also a social networking site.
With Digg you will find different kinds of articles or what they call submissions in which you have the ability to DIGG IT UP! or DIGG IT DOWN!
DIGG IT UP reasons - should be something like this.. “WOAH that is soooo coool!…”, “Good find! Love the article..”, “HAHAHAHAHA FUNNY! :)”, “Thank you for the information” and all the good things the world has to offer.
DIGG IT DOWN reasons - should be something like this…. “BOOOO!” (can’t add more examples due to internet swearing rules)
Also digg is based on popularity ratings.. this will be affected by the number of MUTUAL friends you have and also the number of DIGG UPs you get per submissions..
If you are reallly really really (ok.. stop) popular. You will have the chance of getting FRONTPAGE on Digg each time you submit an interesting article.
FRONTPAGE on DIGG = MORE TRAFFIC!!! wooooooooooooooooooo…….(gasps for air)ooooooooooooooo!
also a good chance on getting FRONTPAGE of GOOGLE!! Wooooooooooo….(i need air…) oooooooooooooo!
Also with Digg they don’t just let you add a friend (YAY! finally no random friends..) they give you the power (yumm powerr…..*drools*) to put a friend as a MUTUAL friend. and the more MUTUAL friends the more DIGGs you’ll get SIMPLE!
Also you will have the chance to comment on other people’s submissions (which will also help you getting good friends)
So yea here’s one example on getting ranked on google and as well as having fun on the net.
